All media including newspapers are required to reveal and present the truth, balanced, accurate, objective and neutral, in order to facilitate the public about the truth of message as a whole, rather than making them confuse. Sometimes, information is being formatted without considering the ethic. After Soeharto era, freedom of press in Indonesia is very excessively. Therefore, everyone who reads news from newspaper or access the media will wonder why the defendants have been treated very special. Media construct the cases to become popular but being not trusted by person who access the media. Media makes defendants as if they are celebrity who seems not really guilty. The cases of corruption spread to all element in society, from local government official, general police to member of parliamentary. This paper is to examine corruption figure exposed by media in Indonesia nowadays. Keywords: Human trafficking, triggering factor, poverty, lack of job opportunities, women and children. ![]() Other family issues also includethe absence of warmth in the family and family socioeconomic struggles. In fact all of the family problems places women and children become more vulnerable and further got trapped into the tactics and false promises of the traffickers. Study findings have highlighted that besides the pulling and pushing factors, human trafficking is also greatly connected to family problems, such as the impact of divorce on women and children in terms of psychological, emotional, social and economic difficulties. Findings were based on the qualitative research involving nine (9) informants who were the victims of human trafficking. This paper therefore aims to discuss in more detail the several causes or factors of human trafficking. ![]() On the other hands, the pulling factors involves the offering of better employment with wellpaid salary, conducive environment for sex worker activity, profit seeking, corruption as well as criminal networking. The pushing factors among others include issues related to poverty, gender inequality and lack of job opportunity. Several studies have highlighted the so called “pushing” and “pulling” factors that contribute to human trafficking problem. ![]() Human trafficking is a serious problem faced by many countries in the world. ![]()
